Zuleyka Silver Biography

Zuleyka Silver is a first-generation Mexican American. She was born in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Her family immigrated to California when she was seven years old. She is a native Spanish and English speaker. Silver is a Meisner and Adler technique trained actress, and studied in Los Angeles and New York City. Her career began with booking print modeling campaigns and national commercials. Her professional acting career began when she booked roles on 90210 and the NBC pilot, THE STRIP. She has guest-starred on shows such as 9-1-1, HAWAII FIVE-O, CODE BLACK, THE MENTALIST, and YOUNG SHELDON and recurs on JIMMY KIMEL LIVE! comedy segments as “Mrs. Guillermo.” Recently, Silver guest-stars in the Netflix series FREERIDGE. Most recently, Silver landed the contract role of “Audra Charles” on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, which debuted September 23, 2022. Silver is attracted to strong and dynamic roles. She holds a B.A. from UCLA Cum Laude in Philosophy with a minor in Film, Television, and Digital Media.
